About Ahamtouli

Ahamtouli is a home, retreat, learning center, and sacred space on the island of Corfu, Greece that provides inspirational accommodation for a wide range of visitors while enhancing local ecology, supporting local economy, and rejuvenating the spirits of all who are involved. This mission extends well into the future and serves as a legacy for all who wish to live in harmony with Nature.

Master Planning Process

Upon arrival in Corfu, our team spent several days exploring the rugged, hilly property. We developed map and learned about the site conditions. Simultaneously, the design team interviewed the clients, local people, and regional experts. Rough design concepts were developed with consistent feedback from the client. Our team also explored other relevant local resources including markets, farms, other retreats, nearby towns, and a local passivhaus project. After further research design sessions we produced a master plan that met the needs of the client and provided a legacy vision for the next hundred years.

Follow-Up & Implementation

With this master plan in hand, the clients are now working with various contractors and local planners to get the necessary approvals for the project. Water management systems will be installed soon as they represent high-priority infrastructure for the success of the project. The site is in continual development.

Ahamtouli will be seeking experienced project managers and land stewards in the future. For the latest information see their facebook page.
